Five-Faves-Friday Vol 3

What a great week this has been! My husband has had the WHOLE week off and we had a really fun Valentine's Day together! We stayed in our jammies, ordered pizza and ate our weight in candy while watching romantic movies. Although, we both seem to have caught an icky bug, we've been sick since Wednesday, hubby more than me, so it has put a bit of a damper on the rest of his vacation. Onto my Five-Faves of the week!

Sudoku Puzzles

I've been really into Sudoku Puzzles for quite some time now but the past few months I seem to have a million other things to do, puzzles are last on my list.  Since I've been home lounging around this week, these have been my BFF again! They make me feel like I'm making my brain smarter with each minute that passes of me doing these!

I saw a preview for this while watching What's Your Number and it looked awesome. I'm not usually into Sci-Fi/Thriller/Futuristic movies what-so-ever but I went and rented it.  My husband and I watched it and LOVED it! We couldn't stop talking about it. The next night, my brother-in-law's girlfriend was in town so the 4 of us watched it again (it's GOTTA be good if we watched it 2 nights in a row!) Love love love! I highly recommend this movie.  It really makes you think!

Urban Decay Shadow Pencil in Sin

I received the Urban Decay Pencil Stash as a Christmas gift from my brother-in-law & his GF, I love everything UD so this was right up my alley. This week I have gravitated towards Sin for every look I do! I use it on my brow bone as well as the inner corners of my eyes and it really makes my eyes pop! I absolutely love these pencils but Sin is my #1! I think these are limited edition which makes my heart sad :(

Hi, my name is Marina and I am a book reading addict. "Hi Mariiiiina!"
Yes. Seriously. I absolutely love reading books, actually, I like reading anything...from billboards to magazines to the back of my shampoo bottle.  I had heard really great things about this book so I decided to give it a go.  I usually stick with my chick-lit type of books so this was a bit out of my element.  I am half-way through and I am SO glad I picked this up. I have never laughed so hard from a book before.  I probably look like a looney toon sitting in my room cracking up. It's THAT funny! This is one of those books I think everyone should read. You won't regret it. You'll thank me later :)

Organized Makeup Area
Now, I decided against posting the actual picture of my makeup area because I wanted to avoid hate mail.  I know I have way too much makeup (wait, there's not such thing!) but I really don't like hearing it from other people and I'd just rather save the drama for your mama...not literally...
Hubster took me to Wal-Mart the other night and bought me all kinds of neat little trays and organization type of things in the kitchen area.  He gave me his big dresser to use as my makeup storage.  I was able to line all of the drawers with neat little cubby-type things! Everything has a home now...ahhhh...sigh of relief! I just love the feeling of having everything organized, it just makes me feel so much more in control! How often do you organize your makeup area?

Well my friends, that's it for this weeks Five-Faves-Friday...I hope you enjoyed, I'd love to hear your feedback...have you seen the movie I listed, read the book I talked about or tried the UD pencils?

Have a FABULOUS weekend!
Until next time,
Marina - mCubed Makeup

  1. omg I had so many questions about "In Time" that it made be not like it! like...

The young girl Justin's character encountered in his home town... he gave her time a few times, why? She isn't 25 yet?

I mean I understand when you turn 25 your 1 year stars ticking... I just didn't know you could receive time before you were 25. That poses another interesting question... what the hell do they work for before you are 25, since they don't make money?

I just know they can't give their time away before they turn 25, because Justin's character's best friends wife said about her new born... "it's a shame we can't use that year right now, we could sure use it"....something like that.

    why Marina why?!!? ugh lol

    1. Just saw this!!!!

That little girl is like the daughter or sister or that man who gives out time at the mission...she helps collect time for him to give out.

They work so they are able to give the time to family members and friends so they earn time by working to help the family out.

Are you talking about when he goes back to see his best friend and finds out he died???
